Xavier Marquez
At West Seattle High School, our cheer program's main objective is to not only coach our cheerleaders as athletes, but to most importantly, help them grow as individuals into young adults.
Take a look at what some of our amazing alumni have to say about the West Seattle Cheer Program!

ALUMNI
"Hello my name is Xavier Marquez I was a West Seattle High School Mascot and cheerleader. I attend the University of Washington, intend to major in Urban Design. I currently am apart of the UW Spirit Program as a student mascot and backup cheerleader. I am in charge of prop making for Harry The Husky and am actually one of the Harrys, I am also in charge of helping any high schools that want to create a mascot program or help improve their current mascot program. As a Harry I’m also given the chance to travel across the country and get to attend most of the sporting events. West Seattle High School’s spirit program really helped me become the cheerleader and mascot I am today. The coaches where always super supportive and went out of their way to get me the resources I needed to succeed. I owe my success to them and am forever in debt to them and will never forget the time I spent with my wonderful teams, Once a wildcat always a wildcat Go Cats"
